Important Changes

Due to structural and organizational changes in the Saratoga Springs Arts Council, it will no longer be affiliated with Saratoga Springs Theatre Company. As a result, SSTC no longer has the financial support needed to continue as a functioning theatre production company for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, this also includes our planned fall production of Rilla of Green Gables, which has been cancelled by the arts council.

Due to these changes, the mission of SSTC is shifting. Rather than producing theatre at this time, we will be utilizing our Facebook page and website to become an online community focused on theatre in Saratoga Springs and the surrounding area. As in the past, we will continue to provide in-depth information about any shows the Saratoga Springs Arts Council may eventually produce. However, in addition, we will be a resource that promotes diverse live theatre experiences for performers and audiences in the area, including community, youth, school, and church performances.

To align with our new mission, we are adjusting the name of our organization and will now be known as Saratoga Springs Theatre Collective.

Our Facebook page and website will share all the information you need to know about local productions, youth classes, and other theatre-related activities, including show titles, dates, and locations. We will also share reviews, written by Saratoga Springs residents, of shows that may be of interest to other local audience members.

Our updated Facebook page is now live at https://www.facebook.com/SaratogaSpringsTheatreCollective. Please visit and "like" it if you haven't already.

Please contact us at sstheatreco@gmail.com to let us know of any events or theatre news that we should be promoting. We need your help to ensure we are covering everything relevant that is happening in the community.

Thank you for your patience during this transitional period. We appreciate your support and hope to be a valued resource for you moving forward.
