Throughout the year, our Shows & Events and Auditions pages will be updated with more information about the production.

Based on the bestselling historical fiction series by Dean Hughes, Children of the Promise is an epic, faith-affirming story about the experiences of one Utah family during World War II. Alex is a recently returned missionary from Germany who must battle the people he grew to love. His sister, Bobbi, is a navy nurse hoping to find love and adventure in Hawaii. Their younger brother, Wally, is a Japanese prisoner of war struggling for his life. On the home front, their parents must learn to meet the demands of a world forever changed by war. This sweeping, yet intimate musical takes you on a journey with each member of the family as they fight to find their way back home.

Produced by special arrangement with Deseret Book, music and lyrics are by Saratoga Springs resident Charles Dail Nielson, and book and lyrics are by Saratoga Springs residents Tyler and Mara Hinton.
